Throughout his career, Nas has worked with some of the most celebrated hip-hop producers from Dr. Dre and DJ Premier to the Trackmasters and Swizz Beatz, but for his next LP, Life Is Good, Esco chose to keep the vibe more intimate.

"I wanted to work on a record where it's just not a lot of people," Nas said when he appeared on "RapFix Live" on Wednesday. "So it's mostly No I.D., Saalam Remi, Da Internz; those are the ones who basically gave me the music. They knew what I wanted; they sat with me."

On 2001's Stillmatic, Remi contributed the beat for "What Goes Around" and then came back the next year to give Esco two singles for his God's Son LP ("Made You Look" and "I Can"). No I.D. and Nas have some history as well. In 2007, the Nasty one hopped on the No I.D.-produced cut "Success" off of Jay-Z's American Gangster album, and late last year, Nas, Common and the Chicago producer collaborated on "Ghetto Dreams."

"I needed producers that's gonna be there and get into what I want to get into, have the conversation and start making the records based off of what I'm looking for," God's Son said.

Heavy D also lent a production hand prior to his death last year, making the beat for Life Is Good's latest single, "The Don." Nas didn't find out that Heavy sent the music for him to use until after he died however. "I looked up to Heav," he said. "He's an icon, a music icon."

Suites Hotels announced today the results of its fourth annual
Business Travel Survey*, a yearly pulse of the business travel
community, which reveals the current state of business travel and what
business travelers want more of in 2012. This year?s survey
indicates that while the current economic climate is still a factor,
one-third of respondents report that they?re traveling more than a year
ago to have face-to-face meetings with clients. It also highlights the
ways in which travelers are looking to get the most out of their
business trips, from the incidence of ?business-turned-leisure? trips to
hotel value, and underscores the importance of technology on the road.

?As an upscale hotel brand with a significant business traveler base,
it?s very important that we listen to these ?road warriors? and
understand what their expectations are so that we can consistently
accommodate their needs and provide value each time they stay with us,?
said John Lee, vice president, brand marketing for Embassy Suites
Hotels, Hilton Worldwide. ?This year?s survey shows us that while people
are traveling more for business; those guests want to get more ?
literally ? out of every trip.?

Business Travel on the Rise?

The Embassy Suites? survey validates that the current economic climate
is still affecting business travel, but to a lesser degree than last
year. Fewer business travelers cite cut backs on travel due to the
economy (32 percent), down nearly 10 percent from 2011 (41 percent).
These results reflect the value of ?face-time? ? in-person meetings with
colleagues and clients ? in business relationships. Rather than
sacrifice these meetings, people are being more frugal on the road by
cutting back on meals and other incidental expenses (19 percent) or
looking for hotels that are a good value (22 percent). ?Despite all the
great technological advances, there is still no substitute for meeting
someone in person,? says Cynthia Good, CEO founding editor of Little
PINK Book, a leading digital platform for businesswomen.
?Relationship-building is the best way to grow your business; getting to
know someone in person and looking them in the eyes makes all the
difference.?

Getting More Out of Business Trips with ?Bleisure? Travel?

In a phenomenon known as ?bleisure travel,? 61 percent of business
travelers report that they maximize a business trip by extending their
stay for leisure purposes at least some of the time. It is even more
common among those who travel often, with nearly seven out of ten
frequent business travelers extending their trips at least some of the
time. On average, business travelers stay an additional three days to
take in the sights and culture of the area they?re in (45 percent) or
simply to relax (32 percent). Where would business travelers most like
to extend their trips? The top cities to turn a business trip into a
?bleisure? trip are San Diego (60 percent), Seattle (39 percent) and
Denver (36 percent).

Wanting More from Hotels?

If one thing is clear from the survey, it?s that business travelers want
more from their hotel while on the road for work. Nearly one in five
respondents cite amenities as the most important factor when booking a
hotel, which means these savvy travelers are looking to get more than
the standard hotel fare. When asked in what ways they want to get more,
approximately 70 percent of frequent travelers say free breakfasts, 54
percent say complimentary happy hours and 42 percent desire more
high-definition televisions in their hotel rooms. When it comes to extra
space, a hotel with two rooms is a big draw for many business travelers.
Almost half (46 percent) of frequent travelers would like more space to
spread out in their hotel rooms, and 14 percent say their biggest travel
pet peeve is small hotel rooms.

?Today?s travelers are actively looking to get more out of their budgets
on the road, so Embassy Suites is proud to provide tremendous value in
every stay,? says Lee. ?For approximately the same price of another
upscale hotel room, guests can stretch out and relax in our spacious

Avoiding Business Travel Meltdowns?

The survey also revealed the area that is most likely to cause strife
while on the road for business: technology. Because it is such a
necessity for today?s road warriors, tech mishaps are cited as the most
likely trigger for a ?business travel meltdown.? Nearly 60 percent of
frequent business travelers say that technology problems, such as issues
with a laptop computer or forgetting a mobile phone, are most likely to
cause a meltdown. ?There?s nothing worse than missing a deadline or not
being able to access that all-important presentation. I?ve regrettably
had to ask clients for a deadline extension because of a tech issue,?
says Good. ?To mitigate the risk that something tech-related will go
awry, I always make sure my hotel has a business center that is open
24/7, equipped with computers and printers that I can rely on, no matter
how late I may arrive.?

?The bottom line,? says Lee ?is that even though business travel is
coming back, road warriors need to feel that they?re getting more out of
their hotel stay. Hotel brands must create an experience that exceeds

Research between February 27 and March 2, 2012, using an email
invitation and an online survey, among 701 American business travelers

Student jailed for racial tweets about Muamba

SWANSEA, Wales (AP) -The student who mocked Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba on Twitter after the player collapsed on the field during a match has been jailed for inciting racial hatred.

Liam Stacey, a 21-year-old student at Swansea University, admitted to the charge last week and was jailed Tuesday for 56 days.

Chief prosecutor Jim Brisbane says "we hope this case will serve as a warning to anyone who may think that comments made online are somehow beyond the law."

Muamba's heart stopped beating on its own for 78 minutes after he collapsed during an FA Cup quarterfinal match against Tottenham on March 17. He remains hospitalized in intensive care.

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) ? Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez flew to Cuba late Saturday to begin radiation therapy one month after undergoing surgery that removed a cancerous tumor.

Chavez will be in Cuba at the same time as Pope Benedict XVI, who arrives on the communist-governed island on Monday after a visit to Mexico. But Chavez didn't refer to the pope's upcoming visit to Havana.

The 57-year-old president describes himself as a Christian. He has regularly clashed with Roman Catholic leaders in Venezuela, but during his illness has often publicly expressed faith in God that he will overcome cancer.

Chavez said the radiation treatments are to begin right away on Sunday. He has been recovering from a Feb. 26 surgery in Havana that he said removed a tumor from the same spot in his pelvic region where another tumor was extracted eight months earlier.

"I've decided, on the recommendation of my medical team and also my government political team, to begin ... radiation therapy treatment," Chavez said in a televised meeting with aides Saturday. He described it as a "complement to the surgery that I underwent."

"Yesterday, they took out the last stitches that were left from the operation. Everything's very good. I've been walking much better. ... Without any sort of complication, thanks to God," he said. "And now, a month after the operation, we're ready for radiation therapy, which will last about four, five weeks."

At Caracas' international airport Saturday night, Chavez held the hand of one of his daughters as he walked past soldiers standing at attention.

"I'll be back in a few days," he said. "You should know that radiation therapy is for various days, and after that a break, and after that other days and another break. So I'm going to be going and coming. It's possible that we may do some of the sessions here in Venezuela. We're evaluating it. What's most important, whether its there or here, is the effectiveness of the treatment."

Chavez has not identified the type of cancer nor the precise location where the tumors have been removed.

After he was diagnosed with cancer in Cuba last year, Chavez underwent an initial surgery in June that removed a tumor the size of a baseball.

He then had four rounds of chemotherapy and said tests showed no signs of any cancerous cells. But last month, he announced he was returning to Cuba for surgery to remove a lesion that proved to be malignant. He has described the most recent tumor as measuring about 2 centimeters (0.8 inches).

Chavez had said earlier this month that he would undergo radiation therapy but had not given details about when it would begin or where he would be treated.

Chavez is running for re-election in October and vows that his illness will not get in the way of that political goal.

His rival, opposition leader Henrique Capriles, has criticized Chavez's handling of his cancer, saying that the president should be releasing complete details about the illness.

Chavez defended his decision to return to Cuba rather than undergo radiation treatment at home.

"The opposition is criticizing me because I'm going to Cuba. ... Here we have excellent hospitals, excellent doctors. But well, it was there that they detected my cancer. It was there that they performed an emergency operation on me the first time (in June)," Chavez said at the airport.

He added that even while away, he plans to keep working and will have "full powers and conditions to keep governing the country."

He said he will be treated at the same medical center in Havana where his cancer was originally detected and where he has undergone three operations.

Last year, Chavez shaved his head during chemotherapy after his hair began falling out as a result of the treatments.

Now, as he starts radiation therapy, some of the potential side effects of the treatments include fatigue, abdominal cramping, nausea or vomiting, said Dr. Michael Pishvaian, an oncologist at Georgetown University's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center who is not involved in Chavez's treatment.

The radiation is usually administered for a short period on a daily basis, Pishvaian said. "I would imagine that he probably could go about his daily activities even being a president."

Following radiation therapy, patients typically need two weeks to a month to recover from the effects of the treatment, Pishvaian said. "Then he should actually be pretty much back to normal, but will be on sort of high alert for watching to see if the cancer comes back again."

As Chavez was finishing his televised remarks, he said: "I'm leaving to continue this battle, the battle for life."

The private tour was given about four times in recent weeks, Anthony said. ?People are always looking for that part of New York history they want to escape to.? ?

Several companies offer general tours,?including NYC Discovery Walking Tours? ?Famous Movie Sites of the East Side? and the guided bus tour ?New York TV & Movie Sites,? given by On Location Tours, that pass or point out "Mad Men" locations, like the Time & Life Building and the Ziegfeld Theatre.

The Roosevelt Hotel NYC, the setting of several episodes and where Don Draper lived in Season 2?after his wife Betty threw him out, offers a ?Mad Men in the City? package. Included are a stay in a newly renovated room, 1960s-inspired mixers at mad46, the 19th?floor rooftop bar or at Madison Club Lounge, one of Draper?s frequent hot spots in the hotel?s lobby: two tickets to The Paley Center for Media; and copies of?"Mad Men" Season 4 on DVD and the newly released ?Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook? to take home. The package starts at $425 a night for a minimum three-night stay, and is available from March 1 to June 30.

The Pierre, a Taj Hotel, which has appeared in previous episodes, offers guests the chance to sip classic cocktails from the early 60s and ?dress up in their favorite 'Mad Men'-inspired garb and embrace their inner Don Draper and Joan Holloway? beginning on March 27 and on every Tuesday throughout the season. The offer is part of the regular weekly complimentary jazz music series from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Two E Bar/Lounge. Cocktails on the special drink menu cost $14 and include Irish Coffee, one of fictional character Roger Sterling?s staples, and the? Bikini Martini, ?the most voluptuous drink in town,? inspired by Christina Hendricks, who portrays Joan Holloway, made with Hendrick?s Gin, Peach Schnapps and Blue Curacao. ???????

The Paley Center for Media will host a ?'Mad Men' Season Premiere Viewing Party? on Sunday, March 25, at 8 p.m. The fifth season premiere will be shown on the big screen, ?all the better to soak up that gorgeous period detail.? Before the screening, there will be an era-appropriate cocktail party and a "Mad Men" Trivia contest. Guests will receive a Season 5 "Mad Men" poster, and are invited to ?break out the sharp suits, pocket squares, and kicky frocks.? But one word of advice from the slideshow: do not waste time looking for 405 Madison Avenue, the address of the fictional advertising agency: it doesn't exist.?

is plowing ahead with a proposed US$3.8 billion resort in Miami that could be the world?s largest casino, but some worry that the Malaysian company is making too big a splash in its very public approach.

Casinos, usually associated with the vice economy, stir debate over whether the social and economic consequences of gambling outweigh the revenue they generate.

Lim Kok Thay, Genting?s chairman and chief executive, is confident the group?s successful Asia model will translate abroad. The company runs a $4.7 billion casino in Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa, and is flush with funds to spend in cash-strapped U.S. states that are looking for a way to bring down unemployment rates and close budget gaps.

To Mr. Lim, a casino linked with wholesome entertainment?the word ?family? comes up a lot?is a better business proposition, both financially and politically, than purely a gambling den.

?If it?s just about making money, I don?t think we will kill ourselves to do it,? he says. The group?s properties in Malaysia, Singapore and New York are centered around theme parks and holiday resorts, with the casino just another attraction.

Mr. Lim says even his organization is built like a family. He claims attrition rates are relatively low, partly due to worker-friendly conditions and competitive wages.

He spoke with Gaurav Raghuvanshi in Singapore. The following interview has been edited.

WSJ: As Genting expands outside of Asia, do you think you can replicate your local model in Miami?

Mr Lim: Of course, it will be successful. You are not talking about Las Vegas where there are 30 other casinos. You are talking about Miami, a very cosmopolitan place. If you want to go to South America, [Miami's] the place to change a plane. You have Europeans coming to Miami for business and vacation. It?s a hub. What?s missing is the Asian link. If you can add the Asian link to Miami, I think it?s the most exciting place to be.

WSJ: How is your concept of a casino different from the common image of a cigar-chomping, high-on-alcohol gambling house?

Mr Lim: In the West, they see it as gambling. Here, as we go down the road, we used the word ?gaming.? It?s not really a play of words but what comes from within. The development of the same industry here in Asia, we see beyond just gambling. While that industry in the West may have started purely as gambling, here in Asia it?s not. The industry has created employment and has provided an experience?there?s nothing wrong with making it an overall family experience.

We approach gambling from the hospitality side. Discreet?you give people a choice. You don?t have to put it in their face: You?re a gambler. They will find it. It?s not as if there?s only one way of doing things. You have to cut the cloth the way you?re going to dress. From the Genting standpoint, we will stick to that, when we invest in gaming, we want that extra element [of family entertainment] because we think that will offer the maximum benefit to the local community and to the country as a whole.

WSJ: How did the concept of family entertainment, opposed to strictly gambling, occur to the Genting Group?

Mr Lim: In Malaysia?s tropical climate, the British used to enjoy the so-called hill stations (towns they built at higher altitudes to escape the tropical heat). Why can?t Asians also bring their families to a hill station? That?s how Genting started, never with a casino in mind. But when the prime minister at that the time suggested it, it was more to accelerate the development of Malaysia. It would require lot more investment to build larger facilities that create more jobs and move the economy, which is what the success story of the country is. The success of my dad (Lim Goh Tong) has been translated many, many times into the success of Malaysia as many others were thinking in the same way.

WSJ: Do you spend a lot of time on the details of your day-to-day operations, or is it more of a hands-off management approach?

Mr Lim: Numbers don?t mean much to me. As the guy who leads the group, I have to get beyond the numbers alone. If I?m stuck with numbers, we are not doing things simply enough. That?s the philosophy engrained in the group?keep it simple. We must think of the common goal, but as in football, each one of us should have a different role. If everyone became an attacker, that?s not good.

I try to make people excited and not feel that it?s a 9-to-5 job, or that it?s a dead-end place. Without them, I can?t move. That?s how I see my role. If you ask me very complicated management theories, I?ll have none.

WSJ: Several Asian countries, including Singapore, seek to restrict gambling mainly to tourists and discourage citizens from visiting casinos. Do government regulations hinder your business?

Mr Lim: I don?t subscribe to the ?for foreigners only? approach. Then you?re looking at it as a one-way traffic. You can?t be doing that. It has to be mutually beneficial. You don?t want just the gamblers to come. You really want it to be a nice experience for tourists, for them to understand your country. If it?s just about making money, I don?t think we will kill ourselves to [attract tourists]. If it?s a happiness thing, then sky is the limit.

WSJ: How do you see employee satisfaction contributing to the success of your businesses?

Mr Lim: Our employees, we see them as a big family. We want them to be comfortable, we want them to be happy. On our ships, we have fewer restrictions on work permits. That?s a great place to learn the trade. We respect our employees. They don?t have to fill in dozens of forms or have their fingerprints taken. It?s not going to be a good experience if you?re treated as criminals?getting fingerprints and so on. My solution [on security concerns of countries] is to make the employer responsible and convince employers that if you make your workers happy, they?re not going to do anything wrong.
